Bat for Lashes announces Shepherd’s Bush Empire show
After a breathtaking headline performance to enraptured crowds at Field Day this weekend, Bat for Lashes has announced a very special show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Tuesday 13 August. Tickets go on sale this Friday 31 May at 9am, go to www.batforlashes.com for more details.
Since releasing her third album, The Haunted Man, to universal acclaim in October last year, Natasha Khan has been nominated for a Brit Award for ‘Best Female’ followed by a nomination for the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards for ‘Best Song Musically And Lyrically’ for the mesmerising single ‘Laura’, where she was one of only three nominees alongside Emeli Sande and Jake Bugg.
Natasha also has been invited to perform ‘Laura’ at the charity event ‘A Curious Night at the Theatre’, a fundraising gala in support of two UK autism charities (Ambitious about Autism and The National Autistic Society). The star studded evening will be held in conjunction with the Olivier Award winning production of ‘A Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-Time’ at the Apollo Theatre on 1 July and will feature a mix of music, comedy, theatre and a live auction, with unique prizes. Bat for Lashes will be playing festivals all over Europe this summer as well as supporting Depeche Mode on their US tour and joining Blur in Dublin on 1 August at the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
