Daphni shares new single ‘Cherry

Daphni aka Caribou aka Dan Snaith has returned today with his first new track since 2019’s Sizzling EP in the form of ‘Cherry’. Always a vessel for more dancefloor focused pursuits, ‘Cherry’ is the most free-wheeling Daphni release yet, almost slipping through Snaith’s fingers as it tumbles and spirals.

Speaking of the track Snaith says:
“Nothing says love like an endlessly spiralling polyrhythm on an FM synth. Making this track was just a matter of getting the snake to eat its own tail.”

The arrival of the track will come as a welcome relief to fans who have been
searching for it after hearing it in Snaith’s sets and those of his friends and contemporaries.

The track comes alongside visuals by Damien Roach aka @555×5555 who pushed bleeding edge AI technology into mind-bending psychedelics that are tugged into the swirling of the track.’Cherry’ is out now via Snaith’s own label Jiaolong.
