Daphni (aka Caribou, aka Dan Snaith) recently announced a very special FABRICLIVE mix composed of 23 original, unreleased Daphni tracks and four new Daphni edits. Following on from the previously shared opening track ‘Face To Face’, Daphni has now shared another track taken from the mix in the form of ‘Tin’. He’s also announced that he will be playing a special 5-hour set at fabric to celebrate the launch on 21 July. The full line up is below.
For the sharper eared among Daphni fans, the full length release of ‘Tin’ has been a long time coming. The track has been floating in and out of Daphni sets for some time with fans clamouring for Snaith to upload the complete track in full. But ‘Tin’ needed to find a home that made sense and was able to fully utilise it’s euphoric build. Synthesising the steely-eyed propulsion typical of Daphni tracks with a hint of the melancholic rush of a Caribou track, ‘Tin’ finally found that home in FABRICLIVE 93.
