Floating Points – also known as Sam Shepherd – is today streaming his debut album Elaenia in its entirety, ahead of its release on 6 November via Pluto in the UK and Luaka Bop in the US.

Having also sold out Islington Assembly Hall in less than a day, Shepherd has today announced a second show at Electric Brixton on 10 February 2016. Tickets will be on sale tomorrow from 9am, available here.

Floating Points has previously shared the Elaenia tracks ‘Peroration Six‘, ‘Nespole‘ and ‘Silhouettes‘, the latter of which was recently added to the BBC 6 Music playlist.

Elaenia will be released on LP, CD and digital download. All pre-orders of Elaenia via the store at www.floatingpoints.co.uk will receive ‘Peroration Six’, ‘Silhouettes (I, II & III)’ and ‘Nespole’ instantly. The album can also be pre-ordered at Rough Trade and iTunes.

Additionally, anyone who purchases Elaenia at London’s Rough Trade Eastbetween 12pm and 5pm on 7 & 8 November will be given the opportunity to use the harmonograph Shepherd built to create his album artwork in order to produce their own unique photographic print.
