In June Leon Vynehall released his debut album Nothing Is Still, via Ninja Tune which included singles ‘Envelopes (Chapter VI)‘, ‘Movements (Chapter III)‘ (and stunning accompanying videos directed by Young Replicant here). Following the release Vynehall presented his debut immersive live show with a three night, sold out run at Hackney Showroom which Clash described as, “a remarkable, transportive performance .”

Today he has announced new worldwide live dates which include a show at London‘s Hackney Arts Centre, a three night run at New York‘s iconic The KitchenThe Warehouse Project x Manchester International Festival, Special Edition and a show at the prestigious Melbourne Recital Centre that will see the band perform with The Impossible Orchestra as part of Melbourne Music Week.

About the show:

Having already worked with Blue May, the Mercury Music Prize and Brit Award Nominated producer/mixer/musical director who mixed Nothing Is Still, Vynehall and May have worked closely to reimagine the album as a live performance bringing in some of London’s top musicians from the leftfield and jazz scenes including Sam Beste – Piano/Synth, Rob Mullarkey – Bass/Double Bass and Will Ritson – Drums/Percussion with Vynehall sitting at the core as a master of manipulation on Synth/Drum Machines/Guitar and a somewhat dilapidated Lap Steel.
