Tottenham-based four-piece Our Mother – consisting of John HartleyPaul KowalewskiLiam Garrett and Joseph Charlton – release their debut EP A.O.B. on 29th April 2016 via Lucky Number. Today the band share a remix of ‘Surprise Machine’ by Tomoya Forster of Pumarosa, alongside the news that they’re also streaming their debut EP via DIY.

The remix by Forster – which also features contributions from Eliot Gelberg Wilson (Double Bass), Robb Dixxon (Guitar) and Julian Vicary (MS10) – expands the idiosyncratic, left-field pop world of Our Mother by adding fresh instrumentation (including a highly propulsive bass line) and thick layers of distortion that skyrockets the original chorus to new heights.

To celebrate the EP’s release, the band will play a show at London’s The Waiting Room on 3 May. Tickets are available here. A.O.B. EP can be pre-ordered digitally from iTunes or on limited, heavyweight vinyl via Rough Trade. Watch the previously shared video for ‘Surprise Machine’ (as premiered on NOWNESShere.
